Qualification Requirements

BECOME AN ACCA MEMBER IN 3 STEPS.

1. Examinations

  • Complete a maximum of 13 exams.
  • Exemptions granted depending on prior experience and qualifications.
  • B.Com Graduate is Exempted from the 1st 4 papers of ACCA .
  • CA IPCC btoh groups passed will get 5 papers exemption. (With B.Com +1 Exemption)
  • CA Final Qualified person will get total 9 Papers Exemption.

2. Ethics Module

Students are required to complete ACCA Ethics and Professional Skills module which develops in students the complete range of skills that employers told us they need.

By introducing students to the full spectrum of advanced ethical & professional skills, exposing them to realistic business situations, our students are ready to shine with recruiters and be really credible in the workplace.

3. Work Experience

Submit evidence for three years of practical work experience within a relevant role.

Being a confident, inspiring and trusted professional comes with experience so to qualify as an ACCA member you must complete a minimum 36 months’ relevant work experience and achieve 9 performance objectives.

Your time in a relevant role and performance objectives need to be signed off by a practical experience supervisor. The practical experience requirement allows you to put the knowledge learnt through your studies into practice in a real work environment.

Course Structure

ACCA Qualification is designed in 3 Levels. Details of the papers in each level are given below.

ACCA - level1

Applied Knowledge Level

The Applied Knowledge exams provides students with a broad introduction to the world of finance and develop your essential understanding and techniques in accounting.  These exams are:

ACCA - level2

Skills Level

The Applied Skills exams build on existing knowledge, understanding & develop strong, broad and practical finance skills required of future strategic professional accountant in any sector or industry. 

ACCA - level3

Strategic Professional Level

The Strategic Professional exams prepare students for future leadership positions. They develop the strategic vision using your unique blend of technical, ethical and professional skills. And you can specialize in areas that best suit your career ambitions.

Additional Certifications as a part of ACCA Course

ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4)

Students are awarded the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4) when they have successfully completed the Accountant in Business (AB), Management Accounting (MA) and Financial Accounting (FA) exams (at least one of which must have been sat and passed), plus completion of Foundations in Professionalism. Students who obtain full exemptions will not be awarded the Certificate.

Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business

Students are awarded the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business when they have successfully completed (either passed or exempt) the Applied Skills exams. At least two of these papers must have been sat and passed; one of these passes must have been achieved on or after 1st June 2011 exam session. The Ethics and Professional Skills module (or if previously completed the Professional Ethics module) must also have been completed. Students who obtain full exemptions will not be awarded the Certificate.

Strategic Professional Certificate

Students are awarded a Strategic Professional Certificate when they have successfully completed all the Strategic Professional exams of the ACCA Qualification.  These are the two Strategic Professional Essentials exams and any two of the Strategic Professional Options exams.

Additional Qualifications Offered by ACCA

B.Sc in Applied Accountancy

On completion of Applied Skills Level, the student shall be eligible for B.Sc in applied accountancy from Oxford Brookes University.

MSc in Professional Accountancy

On completion of Strategic Professional Level, the student shall be eligible for M.Sc from University of London.

Diploma in IFRS

Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR)
is an additional certification in IFRS applicable for any Qualified ACCA or CA or Graduate with 2 years or Non Graduate with 3 years work experience.
