ACCA Exam Dates 2026–2027: Sittings, Entry Deadlines and Results
The next ACCA exam sitting runs 7–11 December 2026. Standard entry closes on 2 November 2026 and late entry on 9 November 2026; results are released on 18 January 2027. September 2026 results come out on 19 October 2026. ACCA has not yet published exact dates for the March, June and September 2027 sittings.

When are the next ACCA exam sittings?
ACCA holds four sittings a year — March, June, September and December. The next one is December 2026 (7–11 December 2026); 2027 dates will be added here as soon as ACCA publishes them.

Which ACCA exams can you take on demand instead of in a sitting?
Applied Knowledge exams (BT, MA, FA) and some Corporate and Business Law (LW) variants are on-demand computer-based exams you can book at any time; Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams are sat only in the quarterly sittings.

How does the ACCA 2027 qualification change the exam calendar?
June 2027 is the last sitting under the current structure. New Foundations and Knowledge exams become available on demand from July 2027, and the first Expertise and Strategic Professional sitting is September 2027, with results in October 2027.

What if you miss the standard entry deadline?
You can still enter until the late deadline (9 November 2026 for December 2026), but ACCA charges a substantially higher fee for late entry, so book before the standard deadline.
After the late deadline closes, the next option is the following sitting. Applied Knowledge exams are the exception: being on demand, you can book them at an exam centre at any time.

Should you finish papers before the June 2027 sitting?
If you are close to finishing a level, it usually makes sense to aim for the remaining current-syllabus sittings (December 2026, March 2027 and June 2027) — but passes and exemptions carry over to the new qualification, so check exactly how yours map first.

ACCA’s important-dates page lists a standard and a late entry deadline for each sitting; no separate early-entry deadline is shown for the December 2026 sitting. Late entry costs considerably more than standard entry.
How many times a year can you sit ACCA exams?
Four — in March, June, September and December. March and September offer limited variants of Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams only. Applied Knowledge exams are on demand throughout the year.
