ACCA Exemption Checker

Indian graduates and professionals can skip some of ACCA's 13 exams. A B.Com usually exempts 3 papers, CA Intermediate 5, CMA Final 6 and CA Final 9 — never the Strategic Professional level. Tick your qualifications below to see your likely exemptions, the exams left and an estimate of the remaining ACCA exam fees.

ACCA exemption fees
Check with ACCA

Estimate only — ACCA confirms exemptions after reviewing your documents. Fees converted at 1 GBP = ₹127.33 (rate updated 6 Oct 2026); Applied Knowledge exam fees are set by exam centres and are approximate.

How this is calculated

  • Exemptions use the same rules as the Exemptions section on our ACCA course page. If you tick more than one qualification, you see the combined (best) set of exemptions.
  • Exam fees for the remaining papers come from our ACCA course fee page (two Strategic Professional options included), converted at 1 GBP = ₹127.33, the rate stored on 6 Oct 2026.
  • Exemption fees, registration, annual subscription and the Ethics module are not in this figure — use the cost calculator for the full cost, and the official ACCA exemptions calculator for exemption fees and any qualification not listed here.
  • Results are estimates. ACCA makes the final decision on exemptions after assessing your transcripts.

Frequently asked questions

How many ACCA exemptions does a B.Com graduate get?

Usually 3 — the Applied Knowledge papers BT, MA, FA — leaving 10 of the 13 exams to sit. ACCA confirms the final exemptions after reviewing your documents.

How many ACCA papers does a CA get exempted from?

A CA Final holder is typically exempt from 9 papers (all Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills), leaving only the 4 Strategic Professional exams: SBL, SBR and two options. CA Intermediate (IPCC) typically gives 5 exemptions: BT, MA, FA, TX, AA.

What ACCA exemptions do CMA India students get?

CMA Intermediate typically gives 3 exemptions (BT, MA, FA). CMA Final typically gives 6 (BT, MA, FA, PM, FR, FM), leaving 7 exams.

Can any qualification exempt me from Strategic Professional papers?

Not for the Indian qualifications covered here. Every route still requires SBL, SBR and two Strategic Professional options, plus the Ethics and Professional Skills Module.

How much are ACCA exemption fees?

Exemption fees are set by ACCA and confirmed when you apply, so this checker does not include them. Use the official ACCA exemptions calculator on accaglobal.com for the current fee for your qualification.
